  • Finally, an elegant vessel to manage the flow of yarn for your knitting or crochet project!  This beautiful bowl is hand incised to provide two options for managing yarn flow:  the spiral loop in front or through the side holes, depending on your preference.   Each is coil built one at a time and sized right to contain a single ball of yarn from fingering sock weight all the way up to super bulky.   Fired to over 2200 degrees Fahrenheit,  the porcelain bowl's bottom is hand sanded to an ultra- smooth finish to ensure a welcome fit in your modern home.  Whether you call it a "knitting bowl", "crochet bowl" or a Yarn Bowl, this one size fits all bowl will fit your contemporary aesthetic beautifully!

Please see our Glaze Finishes for a more detailed look at each color.

Beautiful Yarn Bowl

Thank you, Nona, for creating such a beautiful Yarn Bowl. I gave it to my sister for her Birthday and she absolutely LOVES it! The blush color is just perfect! It has inspired her to start another crochet project just so she can use it!
Thank you also for meeting me in person!

not just a knitting bowl

I gave this to my sister for a birthday gift only to find out she doesn't knit, she crochets! It was too nice to put away and wait for a project to put her string in, so she put her Easter candy in it and it looks beautiful displayed on her table.

So glad your sister loved the bowl! She might not be aware, but crocheters use Yarn Bowls for the very same purpose as knitters - the bowl simply holds the yarn as you work so it flows smoothly from the skein without 'running away'. It makes no difference whether the yarn is flowing on to knitting needles or a crochet hook - I hope she gives her new Yarn Bowl a try on her next crochet project!
