My name is Nona and I am the artist behind Vesselry.
Years ago, when my middle child was in elementary school, she pulled a chair to the kitchen counter to reach the very back of a cabinet for a cup. It was a handmade earthenware vessel made by one of my first ceramics mentors. When I asked why she went out of her way for that specific cup, she said simply,
"Because everything just tastes better in it."
Handmade items infuse a human touch into the objects of our daily lives. And nothing does so more intimately than the cup we raise to our mouths or the dishes upon which we share a meal. Vesselry handcrafted ceramics provide a way to infuse our homes with original art and nourish our souls in a modern world that is full of impersonal mass production and instant everything.
Each vessel is crafted individually by hand, at my studio in the heart of Roswell, Georgia's Historic District. Every piece is thoughtfully designed to activate a more meaningful exchange in our modern world. Their tactile beauty invites us to slow down and experience a more intentional connection with ourselves and each other. They serve to contain and nourish the simple moments of our lives, found in the gift of an ordinary day.
I hope you will join me on this journey of nourishing bodies and souls. Look around the website, join our community, or simply start a conversation by emailing me at nona@vesselry.com. I'd love to hear from you!
